A community of educators, believers, and changemakers dedicated to transforming lives.
Raynor Christian Academy was named after Raynor Kawamba, the mother of the founder. The significance of the name is not just in her honor but with the aim to continue Raynor's legacy. In her life, God used Raynor Kawamba to impact the lives of many across nations as she ventured out to preach the word of God.
As the former president of the Malawi Baptist Women's Association and as an evangelist, Raynor travelled through Malawi and countries in Africa and beyond, planting churches and spreading the word of God.
As a mother of 4 children, Raynor carried two priorities in her life: Putting God first and Prioritizing education.
"One scripture that still echoes in my heart today is my mother's favorite from Proverbs 3:5–6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."
"As a result of the impact that my mother had on me, I pursued my first Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and later completed a postgraduate qualification in Marketing, graduating from the University of Perth in Australia. It is because of these two foundations — loving Jesus and education — that the mission of Raynor Christian Academy exists today." — Eleanor Mhango (Founder & Principal)
